Your script stays on your device

DramaDeck runs entirely in your browser. When you import a script, the PDF reading, scan recognition, and parsing all happen on your device. Your script text is stored in your browser's local storage, on your device, and is never uploaded to us or anyone else. We could not read your script if we wanted to; we have no server that receives it.

The microphone

Rehearsal listening uses your browser's built-in speech recognition. In some browsers (Chrome and Edge in particular), the browser sends the audio to its maker's speech service to be transcribed; in Safari, recognition is largely on-device. That exchange is between your browser and its maker, under their privacy policy. DramaDeck never receives your audio, and no recording is stored anywhere by us.

Payments

Checkout is handled by Stripe, who acts as the merchant of record. We never see your card number. Stripe shows us your email address so your purchase can be delivered and receipts can be sent. Stripe's own privacy policy governs the checkout page.

No accounts, no tracking

There is no sign-up and no account. We do not run analytics trackers or set cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard server logs, such as request counts, as any host does.
